She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Vernon and Frona Johnson (Messner); her husband Ralph Pierce; and her brother Vernon Johnson. She is survived by: her sons, Chris Pierce (Linda) of Warrensburg, MO, Mark Pierce (Brenda) of Kansas City, MO, Dr. Dan Pierce (Shirley) of Columbia, MO and Bob Pierce (Tonya) of Stanberry, MO; her grandchildren, Nakia, May, Justin, Brent Pierce (Andrea), Stacy Calhoun (Ryan), Jessica Oyervides (Ruben) and Trevor Luke; her sisters, Beverly Cogdill (Clarence) and Vonda Gard; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Merrick, Aria, Kyran Oyervides, Rae, Capri, Ezra, Bryce Jennings, Avery Calhoun, Olivia, Everly and Jaelyn Pierce. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
