She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Rush and Margaret Wilson (Spring); her former husband Fred Helm; and her brother Leland Wilson. She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, Scott Helm (Darla) of Creston, IA, Doug Helm (Vicky) and Dina Thomas (Ronnie) of Albany, MO; her stepdaughter Candy Hankins (Kevin) of Dearborn, MO; and her sister Barbara Osiecki of Arapahoe, NE. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
