We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Leo E. Ginther of Stanberry, Missouri, born in Clyde, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ginther and Marie Ginther (Steinhauser); his daughter Anne Christian; his great grandchild Leo James Newman; and his siblings, Robert, Francis, Sylvester Ginther and Beatrice Farnan.
He is survived by: his wife Laveta Schmitz; his children, Paula Heyde (Jim), Betsy Conover (Dan) of Stanberry, MO, Ed Ginther (Nelda) of Stanberry, MO, Martha (Mark) and Francis Ginther (Robyn) of Marion, IA; his son-in-law Dirk Christian (Amanda); his siblings, Larry Ginther of Stanberry, MO and Eileen Barry (Joe) of Liberty, MO; his sisters-in-law, Lois Gockel of Maryville, MO and Joan Ginther of Plattsburg, MO; his grandchildren, Chris (Michaela), Kyle Conover (Breanna), Sydney Newman (Craig), Abigail Marquess (Tyler), Bryar (Aspen), Kaeden, Marlowe, Ossie, Serenity Ginther, Emma Kovachevich, Kayla, Elise Christian, Jayden Rigney, Maddi and Michael Page; and his great grandchildren, Jace, Oliver, Lexianne, Makenna Newman, Maeve Martin, Talion, Avalon Ginther and Aubrielle Conover.
The family would like to encourage those who would feel more comfortable to wear a mask as cases of Covid-19 in our area have increased in recent weeks.
