It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Hughes of Stanberry, Missouri, born in Worth, Missouri, who passed away on July 14, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Joseph and Hazel Elizabeth Hughes (Rybolt); his former wife Mary Louise Pierce; his son Steven Hughes; his siblings, Joseph, Robert Hughes, Helen Hamilton and Frances Lynch; and his wife Anna L. Gardner.
He is survived by: his sons, David Hughes (Lori) and Kevin Hughes (Linda); his daughter-in-law Pam Hughes of Stanberry; his sister Marjorie Dennis of Kansas City, MO; and his children, James Dale Gladstone (Worth), Cinda Jennings (Galen) of Des Moines, IA, Jennifer Coburn (Worth) and Amy Jo Gladstone (Worth). He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
