It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Lee Sowards (Stanberry, Missouri), born in Darlington, Missouri, who passed away on March 10, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Sowards and Crystal Sowards (Whorlow); and his siblings, Bonnie Taff, Jude Osborn, Helen Osborn and Danny Sowards.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie "Marge" England; his daughter Allyson Wells (Terry) of Whitesville, MO; his grandson Brandon Roup (Tiffany) of Mound City, MO; his great grandchildren, Aviree and Creyton Roup; his sister Bessie Duley of Stanberry, MO; his brother-in-law Herb Van Vactor (Beverly) of Stanberry, MO; and also, Clyde and Bev Henry of Burlington Junction, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog.
