We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2021, at the age of 98, Evelyn May Newby of Stanberry, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Daniel and Dora Sophia Sager (Knoepfel); her husband Chester Hubert Newby; her grandsons, Roger, Randy and Gary Huffman; her siblings, Robert Sager, Fern Sager, Goldie Phillips (Earl), Cleo Sager (Maxine), Loyd Sager (Neva) and Ralph Sager; and her brother-in-law LeRoy Gamblin.
She is survived by: her children, Joyce Huffman (Gary), Nancy Anderson (Gordon) of Spickard, MO, Chelyn Lager (Charles) of Temple, TX, Sandra Kemper (Stephen) of Conception Junction, MO, Duane Newby of Parnell, MO, Dennis Newby (Julie) of Kansas City, MO, Jim Newby of Coffey, MO and Steven Newby (Donna) of Kearney, MO; and her siblings, Melvin Sager (Agnes) of Lee's Summit, MO and Vivian Gamblin of Wichita, KS. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren.
