He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Cooper and Elsie Elizabeth Cooper (Johnson); and his siblings, Charles, Duane, Forrest Cooper and Marcella Martin.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Stanton; his children, David Cooper (Connie) of Stanberry, MO, Jeanise Schwebach of Skidmore, MO, Betty Miller (Ron) and Marjorie Kemp (Ron); and his grandchildren, Valerie Oberbroeckling (C. J.), Jennifer Jensen (Brandon), Megan Jennings (Brent), Terry Schwebach (April), Jim Schwebach (Tricia), Christine Moore (Joe), Rachel Williams (Travis), Michael Miller, Kevin Miller (Bobbi), Serenity Wilson (Charles) and Levi Kemp (Diana). He is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
