He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Groom and Verena Groom (Boner); and his brother Larry of Kirksville, MO. He is survived by: his wife Judith Ruoff (Judy); his daughters, Deborah Burns (Donald), Michelle Crouch (Robert) and Rebecca Angus (Jon); his grandchildren, TJ Burns (Alana), Mitchell Burns (Kylee), Kathryn Rivas (Alex), Thomas Crouch (Elizabeth) and Brock Angus; his great grandchildren, Malachi, Esly and Amias Burns; his grandchildren, Emmett and Eloise Rivas; and his sister-in-law Joyce Hansen (Jimmy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
