He was predeceased by: his parents, Derrell Lee and Ermel Propes (Wales); and his siblings, Debby Raines, Dea Atkins and David Propes.

He is survived by: his wife Aimee Propes; and his siblings, Donnie Propes (Wanda) and Dovie Smith (Marcus). He is also survived by one daughter; two sons, two step-sons; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren.
