He was predeceased by: his father Reginald L. Woods; his nephew Melvin James Jr.; and his aunt Beatrice Shine. He is survived by: his mother Paula D. Woods (Hamilton); his wife Callie Newton-Woods; his pets, Blue and Red; his sister Sheandrika Cole (Seymour); his stepsister Blyss Hamilton; his nieces and nephews, Dwayne Miller (Pinkie), William Shine, Malachi, Maxwell Hamilton, Jasmine Tinner, Sheamoura Cole, Monreau and Meckenzie Hamilton; and his cousin Matalin Shine. He is also survived by many other nephews, nieces, in-laws, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the South Haven Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
