With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Louis Lester (Springfield, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher Lester and Bertha Lester; his son Jimmy Lester Sr.; and his grandson Steven Lester. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Jerry Lester (Lisa) and Jeanie Lester (Mark); his grandchildren, Jerry Jr., Jimmy Jr., Chris, Justin, Ben, Ashley, Amanda, April and Jesse; and his great grandchildren, Jerry III, Madisyn, Rhylan, Ralph III, Brandley, Kailyn, Abby, Carter, Colton, Kayson, Kyle and Daniel.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home North (3506 N National Ave, Springfield, MO 65803). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at the Rose Hill Cemetery (9903 N State Hwy Z, Willard, MO 65781).
