He is survived by: his wife Teresa Conklin; his stepchildren, Samantha Rogers, Ryan Smith and Jesse Smith; his granddaughter Angelina Lilly Nystrom of Springfield, Missouri.; his sister Carole Reville of Florida; his sister-in-law Ann Conklin; his niece Jennifer Conklin Peterson; and his nephews, Matt Conklin, Jason Reville and Trevor Reville.

“Hello Conklin family, Sorry for this late message. I finally found the place to leave you my message. I want to express my greatest condolences to you. I'm a musician in St Paul MN. I own a Conklin GT5 and a GT7(20 years). 3 years ago in August I did a "bucket list" road trip to have Bill and Mike repair my GT7. This Thanksgiving I would like to give thanks for the opportunity I had to meet the man behind the bass and his designs. I so appreciate his contribution. Have a blessed holiday season.”
