She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Pearl (Griffith) and Thurman "Buddy" Lee Brown; her sons, Michael Dwayne King, Christopher D McCurtain and Timothy Lee McCurtain; her siblings, Harold Griffin, Jerry Brown, Glenda Brown, Wilma "Sue" Kinkade and Mary Butler; and her niece Stacey Souders.
She is survived by: her children, Raymond King of Springfield, MO, Roy Jones of Springfield, MO, Elizabeth Strickland of Fulton, MO and Regina; her son-in-law Terry Lawson of Woodward, OK; her son Erik McCurtain of Springfield, MO; her sisters, Cleta Souders and Deloris Elbiow; her grandchildren, Brandon King, Krista Dixon, Aaron Strickland, Melody Green, Alex King and Aaron King; and her great grandchildren, Arianna Davis, Tamarrah Davis, Janeva Purvis, Maci Grunewald, LaMyha Dixon, Neveah Dixon, Andrew Dixon and Jade Green.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home (500 E Walnut St, Springfield, MO 65806).
