It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Venton Herald Haskins of Springfield, Missouri, born in Midland, Michigan, who passed away on August 27, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lexa Haskins and Pauline Haskins; and his brother Vernon Haskins. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Haskins; his daughter Rebecca Edwards; his son-in-law Greg; his daughter Deborah Hostetler; his grandchildren, Noelle Corolueski, Ryan Hostetler (Sarah), Christopher Edwards (Brooke) and Amanda Horton (Caleb); and his great grandchildren, Malachi Hostetler, Elisha Hostetler, Hunter Edwards, Wyatt Edwards and Ezekiel Hostetler.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Venton's memory to Fair Haven Children's Home.
