She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Vire and Jessie Vire; her spouse Dooley Hefner; her sister Charlene; and her brother-in-law Ray Benton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lesa Haase (John) and Lori Inman (Allen); her nephew Mike Benton (Cindy); and her niece Tammy Brewer (Larry). She is also survived by four grandsons and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. (2001 W Walnut Lawn St, Springfield, MO 65807). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Pleasant Hope Cemetery (705 N Main St, Pleasant Hope, MO 65725).
