He was predeceased by: his father Virgil Dean. He is survived by: his mother Ruth M. Wieland (Boyce); his sister Debbie; his brother-in-law Kurt Baughman of Overland Park, Kansas.; his wife Millie; and his sons, Jason of Springfield and Thomas (Serena) of Independence. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
