She was predeceased by: her parents, Rollie Hoffman and Laveta Helen Hoffman (Scheef) of Atlantic, Iowa.; her husband Arnold "Rusty" Richard Smith; her siblings, Lance Sortedahl and Lana Tanner; her aunt Glee Wildman; her uncle Gail Scheef; and her nephew Scott Tanner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Johnston (Fowler Johnston), Jodie Wersinger (Jon Wersinger) and Julie Wood; her stepdaughter Amy Foley (Clint Foley); her sons, Judd Knight (Jeanie Knight) and Kevin Dorsey; her grandchildren, Kristin Knight, Miles Knight, Nicholas Knight, Breanne Smith Pedroza, Tommy Jon Dorsey, Tara Dorsey, Jordan Wersinger, Jadyn Wersinger, Ryan Wood and Cooper Wood; her stepgrandsons, Jake Simonson and Colby Simonson; her brother-in-law Brooke Tanner; and her nephews, Todd Tanner (Michelle Tanner), Chris Sortedahl and Clint Sortedahl.
