It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Ann Bourbon of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard "Red" Bourbon and Gertrude Mary Bourbon (Coleman); her husband Norman; and her siblings, Jean Eckhoff, Martha AuBuchon, Carol Elsey, Connie Courtway, Ronald Bourbon, Donald Bourbon, Frank Bourbon and Jeffery Howard Bourbon.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Suzanne Brawley (Randy), Debra Lynn Goodrich, Joseph Raymond "Guy" Sansoucie, Howard Alan Sansoucie (Rachel), Ruth "Ruthie" Ann Edwards (John), Mary Evon Thorburn, Norman Ray Elsey, Lori Michelle "Shelly" Freeman, Christa Dawn Lillard (Stan), Amon Douglas Elsey (Ginger) and Kianna Jill Lawrence; her brothers, Kenneth Bourbon and Jim Bourbon; and her grandchildren, AuBuchon, Donna Emily and Vernon Bourbon. She is also survived by 38 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (3430 S Fremont Ave, Springfield, MO 65804).
