He is survived by: his wife Melva A. Gafford (Carmichael); his daughters, Vicki (David Young), Tracy (Jack Upton) and Carolyn (John Wall); his granddaughter Kathryn Wall (Ryan Odle); his daughters, Rebekkah Wall (Gabriel Saenz), Samantha Young (Benjamin Blue) and Andrea Young; and his siblings, Roger Gafford and Jeanette Kroemer.
The military honors was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
