He was predeceased by: his parents, Thadilius Ted and Isabell Wright Schaffer; and his sister Vicki Ikerd. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Lynn Barclay; his children, Janna Cox (Jeff) of Lee's Summit, Missouri, Ryan Schaffer (Jillian) of Springfield, Jamie Schaffer (Stephanie) of Liberty and Mark Schaffer (Astria) of Lutz, Florida; and his grandchildren, Valerie, Madison, Syera, Dylan, Nykki, Lincoln, Luke, Xander, Jordan, Taylor and Seth. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
