Richard Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2021, at the age of 85, Richard Smith (Springfield, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Frank and Fern Smith; and his siblings, Kenneth Smith and Shirley Ash (Bob). He is survived by: his siblings, Jerry Smith (Jeanie), Edward "Skeet" Smith (Joyce) and Teri Haas (Dan); his former wife Lena Mae Gardner; his children, Glenda Turner, Allen Smith (Amy), Janice Smith and Casey Smith; his wife Crystal Broan Hutsell Smith; his children, Cindy Sparks (Rick) and Rick Hutsell (Johnalene); and also Linda McFarland (Earl). He is also survived by seven children and several spouses, thirteen wonderful grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, and many friends.

For the safety of all, the family is requesting social distancing and masking.
