He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Murphy and Nancy Murphy; his former wife Mary; his wife Carol; and his siblings, Kathy Spartan, Tom Murphy, Pat Murphy and Terry Russell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Brian Murphy, Tim Murphy, Kevin Murphy, Dennis Russell and Ann Mitchell; and his aunt Betty Murphy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
