She was predeceased by: her parents, Warner McVay and Neva McVay. She is survived by: her significant other Richard Matthews; her children, Kathy Matthews Seck (Magueye), Linda Strait, Ellen Magers (Randy) and David Matthews (Robin Richardson); her grandchildren, Carrie Simon, Kevin Simon, Mark Magers, Bethany Maddock, Jessie Matthews, Erin Matthews, Moussa Seck, Kathryn Wynne and Emily Zerbel; her great grandchildren, Arianna, Issac, Wyatt Maddock, Andrew, Ben, Claire Magers, Eli, Norah Thomas, Jacqueline and Morgan Wynne; and her siblings, Jack McVay, Betty Spiller and Kathryn Hankey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
