She was predeceased by: her parents, Adrian Ervin Cox and Beth Cox (Snyder); her husband Donald Carlson; and her sister Libby West. She is survived by: her daughters, Natalie Allen (Geoff) and Christine Keller (Mark); her grandchildren, Zach, Libby, Katie, Alyssa and Miles; her sister-in-law Carol Bock (Kurt); and her cousins, Elizabeth Bolton and Jeanie Erb. She is also survived by four nieces, one nephew, and many treasured friends.

The family kindly asks that you wear a mask at the service for Phyllis.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Phyllis Carlson Memorial, Central Christian Church, 1475 N. Washington Ave., Springfield, MO, 65802.

“Phyllis is the wife to Donny Carlson my first cousin! Both Donny and Phyllis started dating very early in there teens Phyllis the Cheerleader Donny the Star high school basketball player! I had lost track of her she had been send Xmas cards every year I have the last card with her and here Grandchildren always an annual documentation of her and the children! They for years made the trek from Springfield to Minnesota a delight to have as memories of her and Donny.! God Bless You Phyllis! Ric C.”
