He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ada Combs and Lockard; his wife Marydell Austin; his daughters, LaBetha McGinnis, Naara Kean (Roger) and Erin Martin (Brian); and his sisters, Bonita Story, Lois Mayes, Gloria Jenney and Esther Novak.

Memorial donations may be made in Phil's honor to Footprint Fund to help with missionary outreach.
