He is survived by: his wife Dawn Yates; his son Justin Yates of Dry Prong, LA; his grandson Brady Long of Springfield, MO; his children, Jennifer Martin of Lake and Ben Martin (Cara) of Lee Summit, MO; his granddaughters, Maycie and Myah of Lee Summit; and his brothers, Eddie Yates (Mary) of Marshfield, MO, Eldon Yates of Springfield, MO and John Yates (Cheryl) of Fair Grove, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crossway Baptist Church (2900 N Barnes Ave, Springfield, MO 65803).
