With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Allen McManis of Springfield, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 12, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen McManis and Lavinia McManis (Dolby). He is survived by: his daughters, Erin Elizabeth and Kristen Virginia (Timothy); his wife Marcia Smith; his grandsons, Lucas and Elliott Ricker; and his sister Patricia Robertson (Ronald). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. (2001 W Walnut Lawn St, Springfield, MO 65807).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the McManis Family Scholarship at Truman State University Foundation.
