As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Mary may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Dennis Vanover and Zelma Vanover (Greene); her brothers, Willard Dwight, Delbert Eugene and Wilfred Wright; and her daughter Sandra Jean.
She is survived by: her husband Dwain Allmon of Springfield; her siblings, Phyllis Vermillion of Mountain View and Hugh Dennis Vanover of Oklahoma City; and her sons, Donald Eugene Allmon (Pam) of West Plains and Chester Alan Allmon of Fort Worth. She is also survived by three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cabool Assembly of God (1344 Ozark Ave, Cabool, MO 65689). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at the Hillcrest Cemetery North Main.
