It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Sue Thomas in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Fern Turpin and George Washington Turpin; her children, Ralph Wayne Thomas and Shawn Paul Thomas; and her siblings, Daniel "Skip" Turpen, Jerry Turpen and George Turpin.
She is survived by: her children, Justin Ray Thomas (Dana) of Springfield, MO and Donna Lynn Thomas of Lee's Summit, MO.; her grandchildren, Emily Spriggs of Tharron, Warford, Alissa Ringhofer, Eli Thomas, Brighton Thomas, Lilly Schooling and Brynley Schooling; her great grandchildren, Scarlett Klenworth, Bayler Spriggs and Avery Spriggs; her siblings, Ruby Hale, Nancy Israel, David Turpen, Gene Turpen and James "Jay" Turpen; her former husbands, Ralph Lowell Thomas and Alan Harrison; and her friend Nancy Beaudoin.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Phillips Funeral Home (5 S Oak St, Eldon, MO 65026). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
