She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Carpenter and Mary Louise Carpenter; her husband William Floyd McLean; her daughters, Linda Ann Whitman (Rick Whitman) and Julie Ann McGuire (late Mark McGuire); her grandchildren, Chad Michael Whitman (Laura), Kalie Ann McGuire and James William McGuire; her great grandchildren, Elijah Louis Whitman, Finnley Louis Whitman and Anderson Louis Whitman; and her siblings, Sue Aton, John Carpenter, Donnie Payne and Lester Payne.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joe Carpenter, David Payne, Lloyd Payne and Penny Turner; her siblings-in-law, Janice Payne, Nancy Payne, Pennie Payne, Eileen McLean, Frankie Botts and Tim Turner; and her nieces and nephews, Larry, Tony, Rex, Tracey, Kristen, Jennifer and Diana. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home North (3506 N National Ave, Springfield, MO 65803). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at the Cemetery Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (3506 N National Ave, Springfield, MO 65803).
