He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenny Burgher and Cynthia Woosley Burgher; his sisters, Wilma Newton and Barbara Yarter; his brothers-in-law, Glenn Newton and Jim Young; his daughter Kimberly Podurgiel; and his nephew David Young.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Flowers; his son Sgt. Steve Burgher Sr. of Springfield, MO; his grandchildren, Steven Burgher, Jr. of Springfield, MO, Crissy Burgher of Springfield, MO, Ben Burgher of Springfield, MO, Emmalee Burgher of Republic, MO and Brennan Bordelon of Louisiana; his sister Nancy Young of Sun City, Arizona; and his brother-in-law Keith Yarter Sr. of Chehalis, Washington. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home (500 E Walnut St, Springfield, MO 65806). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
