He is survived by: his wife Connie Sue Gayer (Glenn); his sons, Larry Gayer (Ashley) and Scott Gayer (Valerie); his grandchildren, Miranda Wiser (Jesse), Madison Gayer, Mason Gayer, Paige Gayer, Peyton Gayer, Taylor Cloyd (Wyatt), Braden Bagley and Ruby Bagley; his great grandchild Brooks Cloyd; his brother Gene Gayer (Judy); and his sisters-in-law, Carol Chowning (Jim), Bobbie Green and Gaylene Goodman (Steve). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home North. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at the Cemetery Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (3506 N National Ave, Springfield, MO 65807).
