Kent Bentley Davis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2025, at the age of 77, Kent Bentley Davis of Springfield, Missouri, born in Republic, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Kent Bentley farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kent Bentley is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Bentley Davis and Marjorie Ruth Davis (Hermanson). He is survived by: his wife Ilene Davis; his children, Heidi and Ben (Christine); his grandchildren, Emma and Nathan; and his brother Kimmey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Greenlawn South (441 W Battlefield Rd, Springfield, MO 65807). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Kent's memory to South Haven Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri.
