She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Maughmer and Bette Maughmer; and her brother-in-law Rick Clark. She is survived by: her husband Martin MacDonald; her sons, Ryan (Vicki) and Scott (Laura); her grandchildren, Mckenzie and Jameson; her siblings, John Maughmer (Jan) and Barbara Clark; and her cousin Carol Butts (Jim).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Cottey College Missouri Scholarship Fund, in memory of Julie MacDonald.
