We bid farewell to Joyce C. Powell of Springfield, Missouri, born in Ozark, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 8, 2025 at the age of 72. Joyce touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joyce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Record and Jean Record (Berry); her uncle Sam Record; and her aunt Lesbie Record (Bradford). She is survived by: her children, Heather and Travis; her granddaughter Mandy of Springfield; her siblings, Neal, Terry Record, Feonia, Shirley and Janice; and her uncle Roger Record. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Miller Memorial Cemetery.
