He was predeceased by: his mother Georgia Louise Dalsing Portman; his great-niece Katie Portman; his uncle Butch; and his wife Becky. He is survived by: his father Joseph Eugene Portman, Sr.; his nephew Steve Portman (Brandy); his great-niece Ava of Mound City; and also, Bayleigh and Carter of St. Joseph.
The military honors was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
