John Michael Scott Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 17, 2024, at the age of 86, John Michael Scott of Springfield, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. E. Walter Scott and Ann Josephine Scott (Ingersoll); his wife Joyce Mae Vernon; and his daughter Janet Lea. He is survived by: his daughter Jo Lynne Chenoweth (Kelly) of Joplin; his grandchildren, Lindsey Sjorlund (Malachi), Vanessa Lumby (Jacob), Scott Lea (Kathryn) and Sam Chenoweth (Bailey); his sister Georgia White; his great grandchildren, Lennox, Maddox Sjorlund, Josie Mae, Sawyer Chenoweth and Arthur Lumby; his grandson Malachi Sjorlund; and his nephews, Gary Vernon, Paul White, David White and John White. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
