With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John De Lane Elliott (Springfield, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 12, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Elliott and Ella Pauline Moore (Gilmore); and his siblings, Bart, Ray, Bill and Judy.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Elliott; his children, Jonathan Elliott (Renae), Becky Garcia (Patrick) and Theresa Elliott (Troy Coin); and his grandchildren, Tori Elliott, Shane Elliott, Silas Elliott (Maddie), Nick Garcia (Bethany), Emily Mills (Matthew), Brook Sherwood (Isaac), Jordan Hodges and Jenna Ramsey (Christopher). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces, other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in memory of John and left in care of the funeral home. The family has also created a GoFundMe account to help with medical expenses and funeral costs.
