He is survived by: his siblings, Edgar Avants of Frank Avants, JR, Billie Wayne Avants, Bobby Gene Avants and Joyce Avants Polson; his sons, Jimmy Avants Jr., Freddy Ray Anderson and Charles Gene Anderson; his wife Elena Avants; his children, Brenda Anderson Wilson (Randy) of Durant, Belinda Anderson Webb of Calera, Shirley Anderson of Colbert, Kevin Avants (Keitha DeAnn Avants) of Coleman and Billie Voyles; his nephews, William Voyles, Jason Taylor and Preston Miller; his great grandchildren, Kobe Anderson and Charley Anderson; and his son-in-law Randall Wilson. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, nine great- great- grandchildren, and many nieces & grandchildren.
