With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Dale Totten of Springfield, Missouri, born in Marshfield, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2024 at the age of 80. As we bid Jerry Dale farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jerry Dale is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Faye Totten and Elsie Totten (Stroud); his siblings, Jack and Pat; and his grandson Andrue Mason Barnwell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Ann Pogue; and his brother Jim Totten (Clara) of Marshfield. He is also survived by his children and 6 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, long time friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Day Funeral Home (1075 State Hwy CC, Marshfield, MO 65706). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
Memorial donations may be made to The Honor Flight of the Ozarks and left in care of the funeral home.
