James Andrew Moore Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Andrew Moore of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leslie and Mary Ellen Moore. He is survived by: his former wife Rebecca Taylor; his children, Shawn Paris (Sara), Brandon Moore (Madeleine) and Kegan Moore; his granddaughter Mia Moore; and his sister Linda Wright (Daniel). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home South (441 W Battlefield Rd, Springfield, MO 65807). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans Fund and Richard and Vickie Gregg Scholarship Fund at the Community Foundation of the Ozarks in Springfield, Missouri.
