He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Montgomery Schneider and Margery Sanford Schneider; his wife Jane; his brother J. Montgomery Schneider, Jr.; his son-in-law Dr. Don Holliday; and his great grandchild Sophie Jane Holliday.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Holliday of Nixa, Dr. John Michael Schneider (Karen) and Ross Montgomery Schneider (Kristin) of Springfield; his grandchildren, Charles, Andrew (Jaime), Anna, Emma Schneider, Jenny Coluccio (Brett), Sarah Reichert (Shane), Sam (Stephanie), Luke and Eva Holliday; and his son Dr. Filip Otten (Lieve). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Springfield Public School Foundation, 1131 Boonville, Springfield, MO 65802, Drury University, or a charity of the donor's choice.
