Grace Compton Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 30, 2024, at the age of 88, Grace Compton of Springfield, Missouri, born in East Prairie, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Manuel Adkisson and Kathaleen Adkisson; her children, Laura Compton Brandt, Ronald K. Compton (Nancee) and Sarah Compton Asperger (Bob); her grandchildren, Kelsey Compton McKinney (Matt), Kirby Compton (Sarah), Emma Compton (Dylan), Robert Asperger and Steven Asperger; her great grandchildren, Lily, James and Charlotte; and her brother Gary Adkisson (Jeanne). She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Humane Society of Missouri, Open Door Animal Sanctuary in St. Louis, or the Alzheimer's Association.
