He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Wright (Lemons) and George William Wright; his wife Norma; and his sisters, Dorothea Anderson and Joyce Shank.
He is survived by: his children, Gary, Cara, Lisa, Dana and David; his close friend Elaine Thiessen; and his sister Janice Wheat. He is also survived by five children; seven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
