He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Powers and Virginia Powers; his wife Wanda; and his siblings, Bill Cooper and Sue Reeves.
He is survived by: his children, Annette Alexander (Mark), Tony A. Powers, John A. Powers (Phoebe) and Timothy J. Powers; his sisters, Patricia Kirkman, Betty Clements and Judy Wilkerson; and his grandchildren, Mathew Powers, Tony Powers, Jr., Ricky Robey, Jr. and Donna Martin.
