With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary A. Parkison of Springfield, Missouri, born in Walnut Grove, Missouri, who passed away on May 16, 2024 at the age of 73. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary A. Parkison to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Parkison and Freda Parkison (Stepp); and his parents-in-law, Ralph and Betty Vest. He is survived by: his wife Judy Parkison; his sons, Jeff (Kim) of Springfield and Kevin (Shylena) of Rogersville; his sister Glenda Parkison of Walnut Grove; his uncle Darrell "Diz" Stepp of Walnut Grove; his grandchildren, Zianna Parkison, Kiyia Parkison, Hattie Parkison, Hudson Parkison, Harper Parkison and Henley Parkison; his brother-in-law John Vest (Donna); and his nieces, Becky, Joni and Jamie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the summer camp scholarship funds at Northside Christian Church or Seminole Baptist Temple and may be left with the funeral home.
