It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest H McCabe of Springfield, Missouri, born in Hugo, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul McCabe and Viola McCabe (Atchley); his former wife Janice McCabe (Anderson); and his siblings, Paul L McCabe and Faith McCabe.

He is survived by: his fiancée Mary Johnson (Lott); his son Michael McCabe (Michele) of Rockaway Beach, MO; and his grandchildren, Cory McCabe of Springfield, MO, Misty Mills of Prairie Grove, AR. and Jessica Lowe of Rockaway Beach. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
