He was predeceased by: his father Edwin Virden; and his brother Gary Virden. He is survived by: his wife Diana Virden; his children, Scott (Kimberly), Dale (Teresa), Michelle (Scott) and John; his sister Cheri (Kevin); and his niece Kelli (Chris). He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren; his 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. (2001 W Walnut Lawn St, Springfield, MO 65807). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
