He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Herbert Carpenter and Julia Louise Casey; his siblings, Mickey Jones, Jim Carpenter and Beverly Foltz; and his son-in-law Farrell Cutburth.
He is survived by: his wife Eunice Arlene Breazeale; and his children, Greg Carpenter (Rhonda), Judy Loveland (Randy), Dean Carpenter (Dorynda), Christy Welty (Larry) and Michelle Murray (Lloyd). He is also survived by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
