Don Hausman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2024, at the age of 84, Don Hausman (Springfield, Missouri) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Don Hausman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hausman and Edith Hausman (French). He is survived by: his wife Sue (Smith); his children, Don Jr. (Verona), Jeff (Springfield) and Melissa Hollis (Carson); his brother Bud; his sister-in-law Patti Smith; his nephew Dennis Smith (Talicia); his great-niece Chloe; his grandchildren, Derek, Blake, Jordan, Heather, Alex, Brandon, Logan and Levi; and his great grandchildren, Rae, Jayce, Izaak, Claire, Hagan and Hilde.
He then worked as a bus driver for Platte County Schools, oil delivery for Parker Oil, a driver for OATS and as a driver for Rehab Services for the Blind before finally retiring during the COVID outbreak.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to Rescue 66, the animal rescue that brought his beloved Gretta into his life.
